Four weeks in and I’m still having a fun time working on this project. It’s much easier to put together the week’s pages when we had weekend guests visiting! My parents came for a quick visit to see our new house. They were without the littles, which I don’t think has happened since my 30th birthday, at least that I can remember. We had a very relaxing 28 or so hours with them. We visited the foundation’s visitor center, the Chihuly exhibit at the Seattle Center, and this morning our favorite restaurant for brunch (and Bloody Marys!). We spent Saturday night relaxing at our house playing Phase 10, getting Chinese take out, and keeping Alfred entertained.
I’m starting to work on putting the pages into a Shutterfly album so I don’t have to do all the work at the end of the year. It’s going to be hard to have to wait until the end of the year to see my finished project, but I think I’ll be a lot happier having the weeks bound in a book than printing them off weekly and storing them in page protectors in a binder (the more common way people do a digital project life).
